Local news
Follow what is happening in this market, then publish your own coverage of it — with your thesis, your recorded data, and your name on it. Articles go live on the market's news page the moment you post; nothing needs a code deploy.
Coverage of someone else's story. Needs a link, pasted text or a document to react to.
Everything published here
Blogs, articles and the monthly market reports, in one list. A report publishes through the compliance lint; an article does not.

Sources watched
The outlets this market follows. Keeping the list here means the next person to write knows where to look.
Press & media
Journalists, columnists and content creators who receive the monthly market report. The pitch links to the report's press kit — figures, a citation line and named sales that each resolve to a page — because a link is earned by being the easiest thing in the inbox to cite.
Unsubscribes are permanent. Re-adding a contact who opted out cannot bring them back, and a second send can never reach the same person twice on the same report.

Published market reports only — the link in the pitch has to resolve.

Who linked back
Referring domains matched against the people you pitched. Anything else that linked in is listed separately — an outlet picking the report up on its own is the better signal.

What gets used
Sources supply facts. They do not supply the article. A rewrite of someone else's story is their copyright and, to a search engine, duplicate content — which would defeat the reason for publishing at all.
So the draft takes figures and at most one short quote per source, links out to each, and builds the piece on your thesis and this market's own recorded sales.
Numbers are constrained. The writer may only use figures from your sources, from your own notes, or from this market's verified sales aggregates — each of which carries its sample size. It cannot round for effect or estimate.
This is the article. Everything you assert here is treated as a first-hand observation from working this market — but only numbers you actually write down can appear in the draft.
What makes a good set of notes
The draft is only as good as what you give it. The pieces that land tend to have all of these:
- One number the whole piece is about
- A like-for-like comparison — matched lot size, matched house size, and say so
- Streets and landmarks, not coordinates. Somewhere a reader can drive
- Live listings that prove it, and what kind of trade each one is
- The strongest argument against you, so the draft can answer it first
- What you would actually tell a buyer, an owner, someone undecided
No source is required in this mode. You are the source.
Nothing is rewritten
This mode does not call the writer at all. What you paste is what publishes, word for word. Use it when you have already written the piece somewhere else.
The house rules are still checked before it can go live — the DRE signature has to be present, no Compass reference, and original reporting needs its data table. You will see anything outstanding on the last step.
Signature. End the article with your name, brokerage and DRE, or the check will hold it.
This is what turns a link into coverage. Without it there is nothing to say that the original article didn't already say.
House rules, enforced
Every draft is written to these and checked against them again before it can go live:
- No price stated or predicted for a home that hasn't closed
- Every statistic carries its sample size
- No Compass reference, ever
- Signature with DRE on every piece
- Competing agents and buildings unnamed when the piece is critical
- An honest asterisk that cuts against the argument
Captions earn their place
A caption is read more often than the body. Use it to state a fact the paragraph doesn't — not to describe what is obviously in the picture.
Alt text is separate and matters for search and for screen readers. If you leave it blank the caption is used.
Nothing produced yet. Add a source, write your thesis, then press Produce the article.
